Oh Christmas Tree....

I love Christmas trees, they look so pretty, and the real ones smell so nice too. I have tons of Christmas stamps that have trees in them too. I actually cased myself with this card. Last year I stamped Dasher where I stamped this tree. I think the Snow Swirled Tree looks amazing with the retired Bride Specialty paper. I used my brayer to ink over the paper with Elegant Eggplant ink, and then took a tissue and wiped the ink off to reveal the white swirls. The rhinestones are the perfect touch to finish this card off.

Stamps: Many Merry Messages, Snow Swirled
Inks: Elegant Eggplant
Papers: Brushed Silver, Elegant Eggplant, Whisper White, Bride DSP (retired)
Misc: Large Oval Punch, Scallop Oval Punch, Elegant Eggplant Rick Rack (retired), Brayer, Rhinestones

Holiday Greetings

This is another card we did at one of the Stamp-A-Stack events this year. I really like using non traditional colors for Christmas cards. I will always do at least one set of cards in traditional red and green, but then I like to pick a wide variety of colors and see what I can come up with. This one uses Baja Breeze and Basic Gray.

Stamps: Season of Joy, Sincere Salutations, Snow Swirled
Inks: Basic Gray, Whisper White
Papers: Basic Gray, Baja Breeze, Whisper White
Misc: 1" Circle Punch, 1 1/4" Circle Punch, 5/8" Basic Gray Satin Ribbon, Dimensionals

Fishing for gifts

I really like the new animal set Cold & Cuddly and this also happens to be one of my nieces favorite sets. It is especially fitting since it is cold and snowy outside right now. We are having a little bit of a cold streak right now, but it is supposed to warm up tomorrow, fingers crossed. This set also has an adorable little penguin and I love that little penguin so much that when I saw an outside display that had 2 penguins on a teeter toter I had to get it for the front yard. Tonight my son and husband worked on setting that up for us and it is sooooooooo freaking cute. It has put me in a penguin mood so I am now going to work on another card with that little guy and hopefully I will get it up on here in a day or two for you all to see.

Stamp: Cold & Cuddly & Snow Swirled
Ink: Night of Navy, Bashful Blue, Whisper White Craft and In Color Markers
Paper: Whisper White, Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, Rich Razzleberry
Misc: Silver Brads, Modern Label Punch, Whisper White 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Gun, Stampin' Dimensionals

Hope you all have a great weekend

Until next time, Happy Scrappin'

Seasons Greetings

I am really loving the simple cards right now. I love the look of this card, and I especially love that it has a little bit of texture that just gives it the finishing touch. There is not much to say about this card except how easy it is to make. I hope you enjoy it.

One stamp set, hundreds of ways....part 1

I was visiting with my wonderful sister in law today (Hi Catherine) and she was noticing how many different types of cards I had made with this one stamp set, Season of Joy (#110384) and so I decided to post all these cards on my blog to show you how versatile some of them can be. I will try to upload one or two a day ( if my son allows lol).

This is again all Stampin' Up!® the cardstock is Whisper White(#100730), Old Olive (#100702) and Night of Navy (#100867). I used Night of Navy classic ink (#102977) and then sponged on Brocade Blue classic ink (#101102) with the sponge daubers (#102892). I also ran the whisper white cardstock mat through the Big Shot with the Texturz Plates Backgrounds 1, it is hard to see in the picture, but in real life they show up much better. I also used Night of Navy 1/4" grosgrain ribbon (#109036), elastic cording (#109866) from the new mini available Sept 1st and the corner rounder punch (#109047). The stamp sets I used were Season of Joy (#110384) and Snow Swirled (#111690) for the greeting. If you want to place an order for these or any other wonderful products please see the button in the left sidebar.

I look forward to showing you the rest of the cards I have made with this stamp set, and I hope you all fall as in love with it as I am.

Until next time, Happy Scrappin'
